Analisis Swot terhadap Rendahnya Partisipasi Masyarakat Lokal dalam Berwirausaha dengan Memanfaatkan Potensi Desa Wisata Karangan
This study aims to analyze the low participation of local communities in entrepreneurship by utilizing the tourism potential in Karangan Village, Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi. Although Karangan Village has natural resources that can be developed as a tourist destination, the community's interest in taking advantage of these opportunities for entrepreneurship is still low. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods and SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by local communities in developing tourism-based businesses. The results of the study show that the main weaknesses faced by the community are limited human resources, capital, and access to raw materials. However, great opportunities that can be taken advantage of include the development of agribusiness-based tourism, the provision of transportation services, and the production of local souvenirs. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, a strategy was prepared that focused on improving the ability of human resources through agribusiness training, transportation services, and foreign language training. In addition, efforts to seek access to external capital and build a distribution network of raw materials are also part of the proposed strategy. This research is expected to be a reference for local communities and local governments in increasing community participation in the tourism-based entrepreneurial sector, in order to improve the economic welfare of the village.
